The Shadow Rising

I just finished listening to Rosamund Pike’s narration of The Shadow Rising, the fourth book in The Wheel of Time series. It was an epic experience yet again that I highly recommend. That mesmerizing voice, pacing, world building and the story really came together to keep me hooked.

Unfortunately, Rosamund Pike did not record the fifth book (yet? I can only hope!) so I will read it instead, and I suspect I’ll hear her voice in my head as I read. I listened to a sample from another audiobook, but it did not feel as engaging to me.
